Coordinating Care with Electronic Health Records

But i’ve been utilizing a new EHR system recently, and it’s made a significant impact on how I coordinate patient care with our team. The ability to quickly access patient history and medication lists during rounds has been invaluable, especially when we’re managing complex cases. I’d love to hear how others are integrating EHRs into their workflow and what tips you might have for optimizing communication among staff.

I totally get that! The quick access during rounds has been a game changer for patient management. Have you tried using the care coordination features in your EHR? They’ve really streamlined my processes.

I’ve found that using the messaging feature in our EHR is super handy for quick team check-ins during rounds. It drives me nuts when I have to track down teammates for updates, so being able to ping them right away helps a lot. , I wish all EHRs had this integrated better — makes such a difference in coordinating care efficiently! @lucas_wilson22, have you tried this feature?

It’s like trying to find your way out of a maze without a map! I recently started using the analytics features in our EHR, and it’s helped identify trends in patient care that we hadn’t noticed before. If you can dig into those reports, they might spark some useful discussions during your team meetings.
