Managing Chronic Pain in the Elderly

It’s become increasingly clear how important it’s to have a solid plan for managing chronic pain in our elderly patients. Recently, I’ve been using a combination of non-pharmacological methods like physical therapy and mindfulness alongside their medications. I’m curious if anyone else has found success with alternative approaches that balance care and comfort.

But i’ve had some luck with Tai Chi for my elderly patients; it’s like yoga but with less of the ‘I might fall over’ drama. Just remember, patience is key — even the best plans take time to show results.
